At Amenitiz, they are a team of passionate individuals, building the future of the hospitality industry. They are developing a centralised platform to address all the digital needs of independent hoteliers and vacation rental owners. Their SaaS solution allows owners to manage all the digital aspects of their properties (Website, sales, client management…) saving them valuable amount of time and money.

Co-founded by Alexandre (Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne), Emmanuelle (ESCE) and Frédéric (ESSEC), they have clients on 4 continents, ranging from beautiful villas in Greece to powerful brands like Pierre & Vacances.

Job Description

As our first lead-dev and alongside Fred, our CTO and co-founder, you will be Amenitiz' technical referent. Thanks to your expertise, you will contribute to improving the performance and scalability of our application.

Your missions

As part of a team of 4 passionate developers and in collaboration with the other Amenitiz teams, your main tasks will be to:

Guide our technical and architectural evolutions

  • You will be the technical referent for the dev team for all performance, scalability and code quality issues.
  • You will be a driving force in the development of complex projects such as the development of our own open API.

Help our team grow both in skills and numbers.

  • You will facilitate peer programming or group learning sessions to promote knowledge sharing.
  • You'll be the team's referent to allow everyone to grow and evolve

Guaranteeing the quality of our development practices

  • You will ensure the optimization of our app to allow the best performance, reliability and security of data
  • You will implement and manage our continuous integration tools to ensure the quality of the code.

Preferred Experience

Your profile

  • You are a proactive, curious, hands-on Engineer with 4+ years experience,
  • You have a good experience in both Front and back-end challenges, with strong knowledge of Ruby on rails (Vue.js is also a +)
  • You are interested in mentoring junior team members and would love to build a team (first management experience obviously a big +).
  • Strong communicator with the team and other stakeholders in English. French and/or Italian is a plus.
  • Resourceful, independent and motivated – you will have a high level of autonomy
  • Adaptable - we’re growing fast and our challenges change daily
  • Great team player - transparent, collaborative attitude
  • An experience in a fast growing startup is a plus!

Recruitment Process

  1. Applicant validation, how well will you match with the job and your team is important to us at this stage, we don’t want to waste your time !
  2. On-site interview with the person who will be your manager
  3. Follow-up interview with at least one of the three founders
