They are developing a centralised platform to address all the digital needs of independent hoteliers and vacation rental owners. Their SaaS solution allows owners to manage all the digital aspects of their properties (Website, sales, client management…) saving them valuable amount of time and money.

Co-founded by Alexandre (Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne), Emmanuelle (ESCE) and Frédéric (ESSEC), they have clients on 4 continents, ranging from beautiful villas in Greece to powerful brands like Pierre & Vacances.

Job Description

As a Full-stack Developer, you will be joining our tech team lead by Gvidas, our Lead Developer. Thanks to your expertise, you will contribute to developing the next set of life-changing feature for our hoteliers, as well as be an intricate part of our growth!

Your missions

Your mission as a FullStack Software Developer will be to build a scalable, reliable, and high-performance service and develop amazing customer-facing features. As a core contributor to the product, your role includes to:

Undertake back end and front end challenges

  • Tackle a wide variety of technical problems throughout the stack.
  • Work on the app performance to make the navigation easier and faster.
  • Build end-to-end features, from back to front end
  • Discuss, question, challenge, and offer technical solutions to product needs alongside the Product and Design Teams.
  • Understand and take into account customer needs and challenges with our Product Team.

Be a proactive contributor in

  • Helping the rest of the team acquire knowledge and improve their own skills: peer programming & mentorship.
  • Developing processes within the tech team: code review, coding guidelines, testing, continuous integration etc...

Our product is available as a desktop site, as well as a responsive web app. Our tech stack is:

  • Ruby on Rails
  • HTML & CSS
  • Postgres and Redis
  • Heroku

Who we are looking for

We are looking for A-team players outgoing personalities with solid Computer Science knowledge.

Your profile

  • Proactive, curious, hands-on Engineer with 4+ years experience.
  • A good vision on both front-end and back-end challenges and specs.
  • Adaptable - we’re growing fast and our challenges change daily and you need to be able to keep with the pace!
  • A strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Javascript (an experience with a JS framework is a plus).
  • Product & delivery driven: you understand the challenges of our users and the business needs, as well as the impact of your work on sales results
  • A passion for simple, maintainable code that balances pragmatism and readability
  • Strong communicator with the team and other stakeholders in English. French and/or Italian is a plus.
  • Resourceful, independent, and motivated – you will have a high level of autonomy and we expect that you'll be curious.
  • Great team player - transparent, collaborative attitude.

Experience in a fast-growing startup is a plus! And if you know about hospitality, it's even better!
